YWCA Partners with Palm Beach County Food Bank

The CEO's of Palm Beach County Food Bank and YWCA of Palm Beach County met for lunch and what resulted was a new partnership to ensure that NO ONE faces hunger. Harmony House (the YWCA's 72-bed shelter), feeds more than 500 women and children each year who are confronting domestic abuse and facing hunger and homelessness. The Food Bank provides food to those facing food insufficiency. Within one week, Palm Beach County Food Bank was providing pounds of non-perishable food for the women and children in shelter and will continue to do so for as long as we both exist. Together, our organizations are moving the needle in alleviating hunger in our community!
