Events & News

YWCA’s Until Justice Just Is (formerly Stand Against Racism) is a national movement advancing justice for all. During the month of April 2024, YWCAs across the United States will be hosting a series of events to help raise awareness and to promote justice within our local communities.

The theme for this year’s event was “Building the Next Generation of Equity Among Youth”. Our goal was to facilitate conversations with youth, community members, and elected leaders on cultivating and promoting a more equitable and inclusive community with greater intentionality for youth. Our program featured youth participation from YWCA's Youth Empowerment Program, Pace Center for Girls, and Vita Nova; a dynamic panel of local community leaders and experts; and the awarding of this year's honoree of the Dorothy Height Social Justice Award.
