Scott Manochi, has worked for the YWCA of Palm Beach County since February 2019. Prior to finding a home with us, Scott spent the past twenty years building experience in facilities, maintenance, and disaster preparedness. In 1999, Scott launched his own business called Painting Connection and Home Improvement. However, as a result of the 2004-2005 hurricanes, Scott had to close the doors of Painting Connection. At that time, Scott began working for Bank Atlantic, managing and overseeing the maintenance and up-keep of thirteen bank properties. When Bank Atlantic was sold, Scott spent past several years working for various property management companies as a Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager. When the position at the YWCA opened, Scott jumped at the chance to work with us, as he says, “He wanted to work where he could make a difference in peoples lives." Scott is responsible for the facilities maintenance of the YWCA of Palm Beach County's headquarters, Harmony House, and Child Development Center. Scott also leads our enterprise-wide safety, disaster preparedness, and risk management efforts.
